About me
Szabolcs Bárdi was born in Budapest in 1975. He studied musical instrument making at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music. He was taught by Guminár Tamás and graduated in 1998. In 2000 he opened his own workshop in Budapest. From 2002 to 2004 he worked as an assistant to luthier Alexander Hopkins. In 2005 he worked as a contributor for Ferenc Kőrösi’s workshop. He makes modern and baroque musical instruments inspired by Italian models.
